Origins

Nexovar was founded to bring discipline, clarity, and accountability to complex technology programmes. After leading major transformation initiatives for organisations such as Microsoft, we recognised a recurring challenge — strategy often outpaced execution, and delivery faltered under the weight of governance and compliance. Our response was to create a consultancy that bridges that gap: vendor-neutral, governance-led, and built for regulated industries. We exist to deliver transformation that is secure, transparent, and trusted — every time.

Meet Our Leadership Team

Ryan Betts — Founder & Director. An executive programme leader with a track record delivering complex, regulator-scrutinised transformations across Defence, Civil Nuclear, Energy and CNI. Formerly a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) & Principal Architect at Microsoft, Ryan is known for turning strategy into governed, measurable delivery in the most demanding environments. He has steered multi-year, high-stakes programmes for organisations including the UK MoD, National Grid, Sellafield and the NHS—shaping strategy, aligning regulators and boards, and landing change at scale.

Ryan holds many industry recognised certifications such as — CISSP, PMP, CCNP, MCSE, and MCT. Drawing on senior leadership roles and a track record across Defence, Civil Nuclear, Energy and CNI, he brings board-level clarity, disciplined governance and technical depth.
